Denali National Park – Fall Colors and Road

The colors were beautiful but as someone mentioned they would have sure been enhanced if the sun would have shone more.  Our driver tells us there was no snow here 2 weeks ago and everyone had assumed this would melt but it is still here.

Most of the Park Road is one gravel lane.  When meeting a vehicle one stops in pull off (usually not too wide)  to allow the other to pass.

In the sharp curves the drivers tell us it is a game of hide and seek you carefully move forward to seek out any oncoming vehicles.
