As we left New Mexico the July temperatures (over 100 degrees)prevented us from boondocking along the way. When we searched for alternative camping we found several city parks that had several RV sites with electricity. . . Borger was one such location.
Lake Meredith near Borger is 100 ft. low.
Note water marks from previous years . . . as shown there is no water at the base at this time.
The Canadian River flows into Lake Meredith.
Big horn sheep display at Museum at Borger
Flint quarries nearby used by indians and early settlers from 200 to 1500 AD flint arrow heads.
Remember when offices looked like this,
and dentist like this,
and kitchen appliances like this.
There was also a very nice quilt exhibit.
