Puerto Penasco, Mexico 2/28/13

Upon arrival at the Penasco Del Sol we checked in and went to our room only to learn that our key would not work.  Francis went back to the desk while I waited with our luggage.  He came back with a different key on the same floor and we were surprised to learn they had upgraded us to a small suite with a balcony facing the Sea of Cortez.

                                         

                                            

Pretty nice for $53 dollar a night.

We spent 3 days so had lots of  beautiful sunsets.

Were not too far from Old Port

Some of the boats were really old The fleet was out.

So were the pelicans

Lots of places to shop

Great seafood. Lunch at El Capitons.  Said I ate my way through Rocky Point then brought back about 30 lbs. of shrimp and flounder back to Organ Pipe.

Fishing is king.

Back in the USA.  Had a great time, beautiful weather and no problems in transit.
